VISUALISING AN ABSTRACT CONCEPT
The New Reality is a research study, by my amazingly clever friend Julie Dodd, about how digital technology will deliver the next step-change in social impact.
The study is based on interviews with over 50 senior leaders and digital experts from both inside and outside the non-profit sector. The brief was to create an illustration that could be used in a flexible way to illustrate the overall points the study made.
I wanted to create something that was warm, clear and witty, and liked the idea of bringing about a new age, a new dawn through digital. I used a hand drawn, then vectorised style of illustration to enhance the warm, friendly, human approach to the report.
